Strait Acres – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Strait Acres website, purchase of merchandise, and participation in our mountain bike clinics and coaching programs. By accessing our website, making a purchase, or registering for a clinic, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases or register for clinics. If under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase or registration on your behalf.

3. Merchandise Sales

  • Orders & Payment: Orders are accepted online and must be paid in full at checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout.
  • Shipping: Shipping costs and delivery times will be displayed at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Merchandise may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item was defective or incorrect.
  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.

4. Mountain Bike Clinics & Coaching

  • Registration & Payment: Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • Skill Level & Safety: You are responsible for selecting clinics appropriate for your skill level. You must wear a certified helmet at all times during riding activities. Additional safety gear is strongly recommended.
  • Health & Fitness: Participation requires a reasonable level of fitness and cycling experience. You agree to disclose any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
  • Assumption of Risk: Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous activity that carries a risk of injury or death. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with riding and related activities.
  • Liability Waiver: Prior to participation, you will be required to sign a liability waiver releasing Strait Acres, its owners, staff, and contractors from any claims related to injury, loss, or damage.
  • Cancellations & Refunds:
  • By Participant: Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the clinic for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
  • By Strait Acres: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient enrollment. In such cases, you may choose a full refund or credit toward another session.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Strait Acres website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Strait Acres or its licensors and may not be used without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strait Acres will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products, services, or participation in clinics.
